Peer Advisors

Read more about our celebration of four graduating Peer Advisors from the Center for Community College Partnerships through this UCLA Newsroom article.

CCCP Peer Advisors are the heart of the CCCP team. They are energetic student leaders who serve as role models for a economically, educationally disadvantaged and/or from geographically underserved students who are enrolled in California community colleges and aspire to transfer to baccalaureate degree-granting institutions.

They are also community college stigma disruptors, transfer pride ambassadors and agents of TRANSFERmation. All Peer Advisors are current UCLA students, and a majority of them are community college transfer students themselves and many are alumni of the CCCP Scholars Program.

The UCLA Center for Community College Partnerships acknowledges the Gabrielino/Tongva peoples as the traditional land caretakers of Tovaangar (the Los Angeles basin and So. Channel Islands). As a land grant institution, we pay our respects to the Honuukvetam (Ancestors), ‘Ahiihirom (Elders) and ‘Eyoohiinkem (our relatives/relations) past, present and emerging.
