The Center for Community College Partnerships (CCCP) was founded in 2001 by the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, the Director of the Academic Advancement Program and the Director of UCLA Transfer Outreach. CCCP is responsible for developing and strengthening academic partnerships between UCLA and California community colleges, particularly those with  economically,  educationally disadvantaged and/or from geographically underserved communities.

CCCP works closely with community college administrators, faculty and staff to:

  • Create/Strengthen academic support programs.
  • Improve students academic preparation and competitiveness for admission to the university.
  • Increase the diversity of UCLAs transfer admit pool.

CCCP Scholars transfer to the University of California (UC) at higher rates than their peers.

UC Admission Success

In the Fall of 2023, 91% of CCCP Scholars were admitted to a UC campus.

UC Bound

Following their admission, 80% of admitted scholars went on to enroll at a UC campus.
